VBM Flights Showing ‘Sold Out’ Due To Technical Glitch – Air India

Air India on Wednesday clarifies that Vande Bharat Mission (VBM) flight availability showing as sold out on the website is actually sold out but due to some technical glitch.

Since the Vande Bharat Mission has started so many users have been complaining on social media platforms that tickets were sold within a minute after the sale started.

“We understand that while making a booking for flights under #VBM Phase 5, the flight availability sometimes shows ‘SOLD OUT’. The system is dynamic & this issue, at times is due to technical challenges on account of the very high number of hits,” Air India tweeted.

Air India also advised it’s passengers to try alternate modes of booking like Booking Offices, Travel Agents and Call centre.

The airline has started the booking for Vande Bharat Mission flights flights for the US, Canada, Australia, Paris.

In a another tweet Air India has also asked passengers to check the fares before booking tickets from any travel agents and not overpay for Vande Bharat Mission flights.

Air India on July 25, announce it’s schedule for the phase 5 of Vande Bharat Mission. The airline also said that they will add more flights to USA, Canada, Oman, Qatar, Australia, Germany, Thailand, Singapore, UK, Germany, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Philippines & others.
