VSF Global, an outsourcing and technology services company for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide informed on its official website that the France Visa online application platform will be unavailable from Friday, May 26 to Sunday, May 28, 2023, due to technical and regulatory reasons.
Visa applicants are hereby informed that they will be unable to complete their application forms online on the France-Visas portal during the said period.
Impacted Areas: India and Nepal
VFS Global also informed affected areas, and alternative arrangements have been arranged for visa applicants in India and Nepal, where application collection is outsourced to VFS.
Applicants will be received starting Monday, 29 May 2023, in Nepal and Tuesday, 30 May 2023, in India (excluding Monday, 29 May, which is a public holiday in India).
However, for those applications that were unable to be filled out online, the service provider will handle the completion of the applicants’ forms, potentially resulting in delays.
Early Online Application Encouraged
To minimize any inconvenience caused by the temporary unavailability of the France-Visas platform, visa applicants are strongly advised to apply online at their earliest convenience, ideally before 26 May 2023.
The French authorities sincerely apologise for any trouble this temporary disruption has caused. And stated that efforts are being made to assure the timely resolution of technical and regulatory concerns and that enhanced application processing will benefit all applicants in the end.
For further information and updates, applicants can visit the official France-Visas website or contact the relevant consular services.
