Delhi Airport: T3 Passengers Can Now Enjoy DigiYatra Facility without App

Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport has recently unveiled an innovative facility called ‘DigiYatra,’ aimed at enhancing the travel experience for passengers.

The airport authorities announced the introduction of this new feature, which eliminates the need to download the mobile application, in a statement released on Thursday.

Simplifying the registration process into three easy steps, the DigiYatra initiative was inaugurated at Terminal 3 of the airport. Passengers can now enjoy the benefits of DigiYatra by completing a quick registration process.

Passengers can utilize the DigiYatra facility by scanning their boarding pass and their face, while also presenting valid identification proof to the security personnel stationed near the registration desk.

Seamless Travel Experience Within the Terminal

Once the registration process is successfully completed, passengers can experience a hassle-free journey within the terminal. This includes seamless access to the security check area and boarding gates.

Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, the CEO of Delhi International Airport Limited, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative.

Advantages of DigiYatra Facility

Originally launched on December 1, 2022, DigiYatra offers a multitude of advantages designed to enhance the overall travel experience. Passengers can benefit from faster mobility to boarding gates, streamlined travel processes, improved security measures, and dedicated gates, all while enjoying a contactless experience.

It is estimated that DigiYatra can save passengers approximately 15-25 minutes of travel time, making journeys more efficient.

Presently, the DigiYatra facility is available at all departure gates of Terminal 3 and Terminal 2 of the IGI Airport, providing convenience to a vast number of passengers.

The introduction of the DigiYatra mobile application has allowed travellers to register themselves on their handheld mobile devices, further streamlining the airport experience. This latest offering by Delhi International Airport Limited is an additional feature to complement the existing DigiYatra mobile application.
