Air India Express Announced New Schedule For Flights Between India And Bahrain

Low-cost carrier Air India Express has announced the new schedule for flights between India and Bahrain for June and July 2021, under the air bubble arrangements.

As per the details shared by the airline, it will operate flights between Bahrain and India’s Kochi, Mangaluru, Kozhikode, and Kannur.

Air India Express also said that apart from the above-mentioned flights all other scheduled flights to/from Bahrain will remain canceled.

The airline also opened the booking of all its flights to/from Bahrain till July 2021, tickets can be booked through the Air India Express website, Call Centre, City Office, or Authorized travel agents.

Who can travel to Bahrain?

Bahrain has recently changed its entry requirement, starting from 23rd May 2021, the following category of passengers is permitted to enter the Kingdom of Bahrain.

  • Bahraini Nationals/Residents and Indian Nationals holding any type of valid Visa from the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • Passengers with a valid E-Visa granted before boarding.
  • Airline crew and Military personnel.

In addition to the requirements mentioned in the previous update, all passengers traveling to Bahrain are required to provide proof of residence (owned or rented by passenger or first family) or prepaid hotel reservation made in their name at the Indian departure airport for their mandatory 10-day quarantine in Bahrain.

If you have made a hotel reservation, it should be a government-designated hotel licensed by the National Health Regulatory Authority, Bahrain.
