After remaining suspended for almost two weeks, VFS Global has announced that it will resume the services at their India Passport & Visa Services Centre in Adelaide, Australia.
As per a social media post, VFS Global will resume the services for India Visa customers starting from 03rd February 2022.
However, due to social distancing measures in Australia, the VFS will only accommodate a limited number of Indian visa customers.
A updated posted by the VFS Global said;
“Effective 3 February 2022, our India Passport & Visa Services Centre in Adelaide will resume operations with safety measures in place, strictly by appointment. Owing to our physical distancing measures, only a limited number of customers will be accommodated. Please check our website www.vfsglobal.com or the Embassy/ Consulate website for further updates.”
It is worth mentioning that owing to COVID-19 positive cases in Australia, The VFS Global on 18th January has suspended the temporarily suspended operations at India Passport & Visa Services Centre in Adelaide.
Not just that, the VFS has also cancelled all appointments which are booked after 18th Jan 2022 and only accepted the visa application for India through the postal applications.
Moreover, in January the visa outsourcing company has also suspended operations at India Passport & Visa Services Centre in Canberra from 14 Jan 2022 until further notice.
It must be noted that the VFS has not yet started its services for Indian visa customers in Canberra, Australia.
