VFS Global Issues Update On Thailand Visa Processing Time in India

Thailand is completely open for tourism, and since it has eased travel restrictions and removed the quarantine, travel demand to Thailand has increased as a result many Indian applying for Thailand Visas to visit Southeast Asian country.

In light of this, VFS Global, which works in partnership with the Embassy of Thailand to provide support services to people applying for a visa to enter Thailand, has issued an update on Thailand Visa processing times at key Visa application centres.

According to the update, applying for a Thailand visa at their Mumbai centre would take a total of 5 working days, while visa processing time at their Ahmedabad and Pune centres will be 8 working days.

However, if there is a pending document or another requirement comes, it will take an additional 5 or 8 days, accordingly.

Thailand Visa Processing Time

1. For Mumbai – the processing time is 5 working days.

Any pending document/additional requirement that comes from the consulate, will be treated as a fresh document. It will further, take 5 working days after resubmitting the additional/pending documents.

2. For Ahmedabad and Pune – the processing time is 8 working days.

Any pending document/additional requirement that comes from the consulate, will be treated as a fresh document. It will further, take 8 working days after resubmitting the additional/pending documents.

VFS Global has a total of 13 Visa application centres in India for Thailand Visa. Three of them are currently closed. The remaining ten are fully operational and accept applications for all types of Thailand visas.
