VBM Phase 6: Air India Announced New Flights Between India and Japan


Flag Carrier Air India on Friday announced new flights between India and Japan under Vande Bharat Mission Phase 6.

As per the update posted by Air India on its Twitter account the airline will operate additional flights from Delhi to Tokyo on 18th September 2020.

Vande Bharat Mission Phase 6 Flights Between India and Japan

Booking of the same has opened on 12th September 2020 at 0900 hrs. IST and can be booked through the Air India website, Booking Offices, Call Centre & Authorized travel agents.


Moreover, the Embassy of India in Japan has also said that Govt. of India has also announced a repatriation flight from Tokyo to Mumbai-Bengaluru-Trivandrum on September 29. 2020 as part of Phase 6 of the Vande Bharat Mission.

Those Indians stranded in Japan, and having compelling reasons to travel back to India urgently, are requested to register at the following link: https://forms.gle/qR5NfppCGE3ioDpt8

This is a new form and should be filled by all, including those who have registered earlier for any of the Vande Bharat Mission flights.


The embassy also asks people to ensure that you will actually be ready to travel on the flight on the notified day and fill the form ONCE ONLY in respect of each individual planning to travel.
