Thailand Renews Contract with VFS Global for Visa Processing Across India

VFS Global, the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide, has renewed its contract with the Royal Thai government to process visa applications for Thailand from India.

This ongoing partnership reflects the trust and reliability that VFS Global has established with the Thai government over nearly two decades.

Seamless Visa Processing for Indian Travelers

Under this renewed contract, VFS Global will continue to facilitate visa applications for travellers from India across various visa categories.

The company will operate visa application centres and drop-off centres in accordance with the jurisdiction of the Royal Thai Embassy in Delhi and the Royal Thai Consulate General in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai.

VFS Global’s association with the Thai government dates back to 2005, during which time it successfully processed over 2.2 million Thai visa applications. As part of its mandate, VFS Global will also extend its services to tier 2 cities in India, making the visa application process more accessible.

Cities like Ranchi, Aurangabad, Bhopal, Indore, Nagpur, Nasik, Coimbatore, Mangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, and Vijayawada will soon have drop-box services for Thailand visa applications.

Additionally, the recently established VFS Global Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Lucknow, which previously served as a drop-box facility, will now also accept applications for Thailand visas.
