Thai Embassy Renew Pan India Visa Application Processing Mandate With VFS Global

The Thailand government has renewed its pan-India visa processing mandate with VFS Global, the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide.

VFS Global will cater to travellers from India across visa categories through visa application centres and drop off centres as per the jurisdiction of the Royal Thai Embassy in Delhi and the Royal Thai Consulate General/s in Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

VFS Global’s relationship with the Government of Thailand dates to nearly two decades. The company has processed more than 2 million Thai visa applications since 2005.

As a part of the mandate, VFS Global will roll out drop box services in tier 2 cities such as Aurangabad, Bhopal, Coimbatore, Indore, Lucknow, Mangalore, Nagpur, Nasik, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Vijayawada. Currently, the service is available at Agra, Amritsar, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Ludhiana, Patna, Siliguri, and Visakhapatnam.

VFS Global Revised Service Fees

VFS Global which is the official partner of the Embassy of Thailand in India has recently revised the service fees for all Thailand Visa Applications starting September 01.

According to a VFS Global update, it will begin charging a revised fee of ₹250 when you apply for your Thailand Visa from Visa Application Centres in Mumbai, Pune, Goa, and Ahmedabad.
