VFS Global Revised Service Fees for Thailand Visa Applications

VFS Global, the official partner of the Embassy of Thailand in India, has revised the service fees for all Thailand Visa Applications starting September 01.

According to a VFS Global update, it will begin charging a revised fee of ₹250 when you apply for your Thailand Visa from Visa Application Centres in Mumbai, Pune, Goa, and Ahmedabad.

“A revised service fee will be applicable on all Thailand visa applications at our Ahmedabad, Goa, Mumbai, and Pune Visa Application Centres from 1 September 2022,” said VFS Global in a Tweet.

It is worth noting that the ₹250 is for logistical or service fees, and applicants must pay the Visa Fees of ₹2500 for a Tourist Visa (single entry) or ₹12,000 for a Multiple entry visa separately.

“The Service fee has been changed for all the categories, with effective from 01st September 2022. The revised Logistic fee is INR 250/-. The changes are for Mumbai, Pune, Goa & Ahmedabad comprising the states of: Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.”

Applicant applying in Delhi, Chandigarh & Jalandhar needs to pay ₹500/- service charges in addition to the Visa Fees (Including all taxes).

According to VFS Global, all charges are non-refundable, even if the application is refused or withdrawn. Applicants must also collect appropriate receipts for all payments.

Thailand Announced Visa Extension

In other news, Thailand has extended visas for tourists from countries eligible for visa exemption and visas on arrival to Thailand from 1 October 2022 to 31 March 2023.

Under the new visa extension policy, the period of stay for tourists from visa-exempt countries/territories has been extended to 45 days and to 30 days for those eligible for a Visa on Arrival (VOA).
