Thai Airways To Start International Flights To 16 Destinations In July 2021

Amid the increasing demand for leisure, business, and transit travel, Thai Airways International (THAI) on Friday announced that it will be operating international flights to 16 destinations during the July-September 2021 period.

Thai Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Nond Kalinta said these 16 destinations have included 10 Regional and 6 Intercontinental destinations.

Here is the full list of Thai Airways new flights destinations from its hub Bangkok.

  1. Bangkok – Tokyo (Narita): three flights per week every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
  2. Bangkok – Tokyo (Haneda): two flights per week every Wednesday and Friday.
  3. Bangkok – Osaka: three flights per week every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
  4. Bangkok – Nagoya: two flights per week every Thursday and Sunday.
  5. Bangkok – Seoul: two flights per week every Thursday and Sunday.
  6. Bangkok – Taipei: three flights per week every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
  7. Bangkok – Hong Kong: five flights per week every Wed, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  8. Bangkok – Lahore: two flights per week on every Friday and Sunday.
  9. Bangkok – Dhaka: one weekly flight every Friday.
  10. Bangkok – Manila: three flights per week every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
  11. Bangkok – London: two flights per week every Wednesday and Sunday.
  12. Bangkok – Copenhagen: two flights per week every Wednesday and Sunday.
  13. Bangkok – Frankfurt: three flights per week every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
  14. Bangkok – Paris: one weekly flight every Saturday.
  15. Bangkok – Zurich: one weekly flight every Wednesday.
  16. Bangkok – Sydney: two flights per week every Wednesday and Sunday.

In addition to these passenger flights, THAI operates cargo flights to regional destinations; such as Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Singapore, Seoul, Osaka, and Tokyo (Narita).

The airline is also planning to increase flights under its 2021 Winter Programme in response to travel demand.

THAI “prioritizes hygiene excellence” and is accredited with the Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA) standard, recognized by the World Travel and Tourism Council under the Council’s SafeTravels global health and hygiene protocols.

THAI also strictly complies with the COVID-19 preventive measures by the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) during flight operations. After every flight, all passenger cabins will undergo disinfecting and deep cleaning.
