Oman Air To Operate Flights Between Muscat And Bengaluru

Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman has announced new flights between Oman and India; the airline will operate a total of seven flights between Muscat, the capital of Oman, and Bengaluru, the IT hub of India.

“Oman Air will operate 7 flights between Muscat – Bengaluru – Muscat on 19 & 24 Dec. 2020, and on 2, 7, 16, 21 & 30 Jan. 2021,” said Oman Air in a social media post.

Currently, the international flight operation between India and Oman are only operated under Vande Bharat Mission and air bubble arrangements between the two countries.

Recently, In a move to support tourism and shore up its struggling economy, Oman has decided to exempt nationals of 103 counties including India from needing an entry visa for a stay of up to 10 days.

Oman Air has also opened the bookings for the Muscat-Bengaluru-Muscat route, tickets can be booked through the official website omanair.com or through online booking portals

Indian low-cost carrier Air India Express is also operating over 200 flights between Oman’s Muscat, Salalah, And India’s Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Trichy and, Trivandrum under Phase 8 of Vande Bharat Mission.
