Ministry Of Railways will launch the revamped website of IRCTC today, at 12 noon with new features and facilities for the passengers.
The IRCTC e-ticketing website should be more friendly and easy to use for the passengers to help them book tickets easily, Goyal had said on 25 Dec.
Goyal had reviewed the upgradation being worked for the E-ticketing system.
The Railways has been working to improve the user experience of their e-ticketing website, along with advanced features and simple design.
- IRCTC Ticketing website of the Indian Railways provides the facility of online passenger reservation in the trains being run over IR touching the lives of most citizens for their rail travel needs.
- Since 2014 a new emphasis is being given on improving the public experience in booking of tickets as well as travelling conveniences.

According to Piyush Goyal, the IRCTC website is the first contact point of the travellers so the experience must be friendly and convenient.
The Indian Railways has also introduced the newly designed vistadome tourist coach, which will make train journeys more memorable for the passengers.
“Ending the Year on a Great Note: Indian Railways has successfully completed 180 kmph speed trial of new design Vistadome tourist coach. These coaches will make train journeys memorable for the passengers & give a further boost to tourism, the Rail Minister had said.
