The low-cost airline IndiGo has decided to operate its Hyderabad-Aurangabad flight daily from August 19, said the director of the city airport D G Salve on Friday.
Due to the lockdown forced by the coronavirus, all national and international flights have been suspended until the end of May.
As of June 19, IndiGo has been operating a flight from Aurangabad to New Delhi three times a week, he said.
Another airline launched a flight to Hyderabad from the central city of Maharashtra last month that operates four times a week, Salve said.
“An Air India flight also flies to New Delhi twice a week,” the airport director told PTI.
“There is no more confirmation from an airline that there will be more flights this month or next.
However, IndiGo will operate a daily flight between Hyderabad, Aurangabad and Hyderabad from August 19,” said Salve.
