Polish Visa Services Now Available In New Delhi And Mumbai

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in India and VFS global have opened the Polish Visa Application Centres in New Delhi and Mumbai. Also Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Kolkata are in the pipeline for Polish Visa Services.

The centre in New Delhi was officially inaugurated Adam Burakowski, Ambassador Extraordinary and diplomat of the Republic of Poland to India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Afghanistan.

The Embassy of Republic of Poland in India and VFS global signed a contract on 19 November 2019 for the latter to start visa services for Poland in India. prior to this, travellers had to go to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi or the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Mumbai to apply for their visas.

The Republic of Poland has been witnessing a speedy increase in tourist and business arrivals from India over the years, with 2018 notching footfall of over 16,000 from the market. With the recently launched direct flights from New Delhi to warsaw, these numbers are expected to grow exponentially.

“Poland is becoming more and more attractive for Indians, with its rich business opportunities, numerous touristic destinations and excellent universities. the number of visa candidates is growing fast. Also, the opening of the flight between Warsaw and New Delhi could be a major step. we look to the cooperation with VFS global with high hopes. we would wish to make the visa application process easier and more accessible for individuals,” Burakowski said.
