As per the Henley Passport Index, Indian Passport has become stronger as India has improved the passport ranking for the year 2022. Indian passport has climbed 7 places and ranked at 83rd position as compared with 90th position in 2021,
Now, Indian passport holders can travel to 60 countries across the world without the need for a prior visa. It is worth mentioning that Oman and Armenia are the latest additions to India’s Visa-free destinations list.

Here is the full list of Visa-free access destinations for Indian passport holders; The list includes 33 destination which has Visa On Arrival (VOA) facility for Indian passport holders.

Passport of Japan And Singapore Topped
Passports Japan and Singapore hold the first rank on the passport index. passport holders of the two Asian nations can now enter 192 destinations around the world visa-free. while the second position is shared by South Korea and Germany with access to 190 visa-free destinations.
What is Henley Passport Index?
The Henley Passport Index is the original ranking of all the world’s passports according to the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa.
The ranking is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which maintains the world’s largest and most accurate database of travel information.
According to the Henley Passport Index, the latest ranking includes 199 different passports and 227 different travel destinations. The data of the passport index are updated in real-time as and when visa policy changes come into effect.

I think our passport is degrading day by day. Even after becoming a big power still no EU union country, Russia, Turkey etc are still need advance approvals to visit and max number of rejections are there on Indian passport. Still we are thinking our passport is becoming better.
Even the rate of rejections in Serbia and Albania are increasing on daily basis.
Jordan should be excluded from the list. It cost me a lot of money last year when we landed in the airport and the airlines didn’t let us board as we didn’t have the visa. You can get visa on arrival only if you have US visa. Please change it so others don’t make the same mistake as me
Interesting to note that Bangladesh is not in the list, the very country it helped create.
