Travel experts anticipate a significant rise in visa applications starting in April, coinciding with the popular spring travel window. The trend is likely to continue through May and June as Indians finalize their summer travel plans.

To avoid long processing times, Indian travellers with confirmed travel plans are advised to apply for their visas as soon as possible. Applications can be submitted up to six months before your intended arrival in Croatia.

While the latest you can apply is 15 days before travel, with the high demand and limited processing slots, it’s best not to wait until the last minute.

Exploring Croatia with a Schengen Visa

Indian tourists seeking a Croatian adventure will need a short-term Schengen visa, allowing a maximum stay of 90 days within a 180-day period.

Processing Time

Visa applications can be submitted at VFS Global up to 6 months before the planned journey start date and can be submitted by the applicant themselves or by a parent or legal guardian for minors.
