Crisis-hit airline Go First has announced that its scheduled flight operations will continue to be cancelled until June 19, citing operational reasons. This extension comes after the previous announcement that flights would be cancelled until June 16.

In a tweet, Go First expressed regret over the flight cancellations and apologized for any inconvenience caused. They also assured passengers that they are committed to providing assistance in light of the disruptions to travel plans.

Additionally, Go First revealed in a letter that the company has filed an application for immediate resolution and revival of operations. They stated that they are actively working towards resuming bookings in the near future.

How to Claim a Go First Refund?

Go First, the crisis-hit airline has made a commitment to provide a complete refund to passengers affected by the flight cancellations. To facilitate this process, the airline has introduced a convenient platform called “Ease My Claims” specifically designed for passengers who have booked tickets on cancelled flights and wish to claim a refund.

To claim your refund, simply access the “Ease My Claims” portal and provide the necessary details as instructed. The airline will review your request and process the refund accordingly.

DGCA Urges Comprehensive Revival Plan

The airline operator had previously filed for voluntary insolvency in early May, resulting in a halt to its operations.

To address the situation, the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority, DGCA, has advised Go First to submit a comprehensive restructuring or revival plan within 30 days. Once submitted, DGCA will review the plan and take appropriate action accordingly.
