Emirates To Re-instate Pre-Covid Flight Frequencies To India Starting April 01

Emirates, the largest airline of the United Arab Emirates on Friday announced that it will resume the pre-pandemic flights’ frequency to all of its Indian destinations beginning April 1, 2022.

This comes after the Indian government’s plan to resume the scheduled international flights to and from the country in accordance with existing bilateral agreements starting 27th March 2022.

As per the announcement made by the airline, it will start operating around 170 weekly flights between UAE and nine different destinations across India. This means that travellers from both countries will have additional flight options, which may result in more connectivity and lower airfares.

Emirates Bring Back A380 To India

Emirates has also reinstated its popular Airbus A380 service between Dubai and Mumbai on a daily basis beginning in March 2022. The iconic double-decker aircraft operates Emirates flight EK 500/501.

Emirates used to fly the A380 to Mumbai on a daily basis amid the coronavirus and associated restricted access to the Indian market, Emirates has downgraded their few flights to India to the Boeing 777.

Complimentary Chauffeur Drive Service

Customers travelling in First and Business Class with Emirates from Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi can avail of complimentary chauffeur drive service to the airport and on arrival at select locations within the airline’s global network.

Customers travelling in premium cabins and Emirates Skywards members in select membership tiers will also have access to Emirates’ exclusive lounge experience in Dubai and select airports around the world.
