In an effort to enhance tourism and facilitate travel, EgyptAir, the national carrier of Egypt, has unveiled a new initiative allowing travellers to obtain a free transit visa to enter Egypt and stay for a duration ranging from 8 to 96 hours.

This convenient visa can be acquired upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, provided that passengers visit the EgyptAir transit office at the airport and complete a data form. The visa is issued free of charge to eligible individuals.

Egypt’s free transit visa is only available for travellers whose nationality allows them to obtain an emergency visa upon arrival at Cairo Airport.
