Excitement brews among devotees as offline registrations for the revered Char Dham yatra kick off today at 7 am in Haridwar and Rishikesh.

The move comes after a temporary halt due to congestion and complaints of mismanagement, causing inconvenience to pilgrims. However, authorities assure improved arrangements this time to streamline the registration process.

Enhanced Facilities and Quicker Clearances

Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey assures pilgrims of better experiences this year, stating, “Better arrangements have been made at offline registration centres in Haridwar and Rishikesh.”

With approximately 14.3 lakh pilgrims having already embarked on the Char Dham yatra, authorities have successfully cleared around 25,000 backlog registrations from both centres, easing the burden on pilgrims and officials alike.
