The Govt. of India on May 06, 2020, has started the ‘Vande Bharat Mission’ to repatriate Indians stranded all over the world due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
On 26th Oct 2020, Air India has announced 122 flights under Phase 7 of the Vande Bharat Mission starting from 29th Oct 2020 and will continue till 30th November 2020.
Under Phase 7 Air India will operate repatriation flights between India and Addis Ababa, Adelaide, Cairo, Colombo, Kuwait, Muscat, Nairobi, Rangoon, Rome, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sydney, and Wuhan.

As per the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), 9,737 repatriation flights were operated by the Air India Group under the Vande Bharat Mission till November 22, carrying over 12.50 lakh passengers. Of these, 4,867 were inbound flights carrying 780,961 passengers and 4,870 were outbound flights with 469,696 fliers.
The Vande Bharat Mission is currently in its Phase 7 which will continue until 30th November.
