Qatar said on Wednesday that it will allow its citizens and permanent residents to travel and return abroad anytime from August 1, the state news agency said on Twitter, citing a statement by the government’s communications bureau.
The Government Communications Office (GCO) said arrivals from low-risk countries would need to go through a coronavirus test at the airport and sign a formal pledge to keep the quarantine at home for a week, the state news agency (QNA) said on its Twitter account citing a statement from GCO.

According to the GCO, the list of low-risk countries is published on the Ministry of Health’s website and reviewed every two weeks.
Travelers from low-risk countries who have received COVID-free certificates from an accredited test center within 48 hours of the start of the trip do not have to take a test at the airport.
The measures come when the third phase of a four-phase plan to lift the coronavirus restrictions begins in early August.
Qatar has reported 10.7430 coronavirus cases, with 160 deaths and 10.4191 cases being resolved.
