Vistara Increases Flights Between Delhi and Frankfurt, Paris; Adds 3rd Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner

Vistara, India’s leading full-service airline, has increased flight frequencies to Frankfurt and Paris beginning Thursday. According to an update, the airline will now fly six times per week between Delhi and Frankfurt, and five times per week between Delhi and Paris.

Vistara’s third Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner recently joined its fleet following customization of the leased aircraft, prompting the decision to expand.

These additional flights were supposed to begin on October 30, but due to a delay in the delivery of B787 aircraft leased from Irish lessor AerCap, the airline was forced to cancel 14 flights to Frankfurt and Paris.

Vistara Paris, Frankfurt Flight Scheduled

Vistara’s Delhi-Paris-Delhi flight now operates every day except Tuesday and Thursday, and its Delhi-Frankfurt-Delhi flight operates every day except Wednesday.

Vistara’s third Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner has a three-class cabin configuration, with 30 Business Class seats, 36 Premium Economy seats, and 226 Economy Class seats.

The new aircraft will also have fully flat business-class seats with direct aisle access. A slew of other features is included in all three cabins, including in-seat screens with High Definition (HD) Displays and a Panasonic-powered In-Flight Entertainment system.

Vistara is India’s highest-rated airline on Skytrax and TripAdvisor, and it has won several ‘Best Airline’ awards in addition to being recognised for its cabin cleanliness and safety standards.

The airline was recently recognised as the ‘Best Airline in India and Southern Asia‘ for the second year in a row, the ‘Best Airline Staff Service in India and Southern Asia’ for the fourth consecutive year, the ‘Best Cabin Crew in India and Southern Asia’ for the second year in a row, and the ‘Best Business Class in India and Southern Asia’ at the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022.

Vistara and Air India, both owned by the Tata Group, are in talks for a merger. While Vistara is a joint venture between Tata and Singapore Airlines, Air India was sold to the Tata Group earlier this year.
