VSF Global on Friday in a social media post issues an update for its Cyprus Visa applicants in Pune, India and said that its Visa Applicational Centre (VAC) will start accepting Cyprus Visa Applications effective January 30, 2023.
This means that individuals in Pune who wish to apply for a Cyprus visa can now submit their applications at the VAC on or after this date.
According to VFS Global, the Cyprus Visa Application Centre in Pune will resume operations for visa application submissions on January 20th, 2023. The Centre will be open for accepting visa applications from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on weekdays, excluding public holidays.
As the Cyprus Visa Application Centre in Pune resumed operations, VFS Global is now accepting visa applications for Cyprus at various locations including Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Cochin, Pondicherry, and Jalandhar.
Cyprus Visa
A Cyprus visa is an entry permit for a short (up to 90 days) or long stay (up to one year) granted to foreign nationals wishing to enter the Republic of Cyprus’s territory. Cyprus visas have a national application, which means they only allow the holder to enter the Republic’s territory.
It is worth noting here that if an applicant has a valid, double and/or multiple entries Schengen visa on his/her passport, he/she can enter Cyprus without a visa.

Documents Required For Cyprus Visa
The following documents are required to support a Cyprus visa application:
- 2 passport photos.
- Travel Insurance.
- Original passport and photocopy, old passports (if any).
- Employment Letter.
- Hotel Reservation or “Assumption of Responsibility for Hosting”
- Flight Reservation.
- Bank Statement of last 3 months.
- Photocopy of Tax Declaration for the last 3 years.
Children under 18 who will enter Cyprus unaccompanied must present a statement signed and stamped by both parents or by the absent parent.
Cyprus Visa Processing Time in India
According to the official website of VFS Global, the processing at the Embassy of Cyprus normally takes 10-15 working days, but may in some cases take longer.
The VFS also stated that it will submit Cyprus visa applications from Delhi to the High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in New Delhi on the next working day.
Applications from Chandigarh, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Cochin, Pondicherry and Jalandhar will be submitted on the third working day to the same High Commission.
