VBM: Air India Express Announce Additional Flights For Doha

No-frills carrier Air India Express has announce few additional flights between India and Doha under the Vande Bharat Mission Phase 5.

As per the updates posted by Air India Express, it will operate 13 flights connecting Doha to Delhi, Lucknow, Amritsar, Hyderabad And Mumbai.

Air India Express will operate these additional flights starting from 27th August 2020 and will continue till 30th August 2020.

Bookings are open for flights from August 20 – August 31, 2020, on Phase 5 Vande Bharat Mission of Air India Express.

Here are the guidelines for Indian who wish to travel to Doha, Qatar

Passenger Category Permitted to travel to Qatar from India:

  1. Qatari Nationals, their spouses, their children, their Husbands, and companions under their sponsorship arriving with them on the same flights.
  2. Passengers Holding Permanent Residency.
  3. Residents arriving in Doha holding the Exceptional Return Permit.

Effective 01st August, Returning Resident Permit holders of Qatar can travel after obtaining an Exceptional Entry Permit to Return from Qatar Government Portal

All passengers returning to Qatar MUST:

  • Install EHTERAZ app in their mobile phones
  • Book a quarantined hotel for one week through “Discover Qatar”, before arriving at Qatar
  • A PCR test will be taken upon arrival in Qatar OR Passenger may carry a negative COVID-19 PCR test not less than 48 hours prior to departure from an accredited Medical Centre in India.
