Amid the rising cases of coronavirus in India, The US and the Russian embassy in the country have announced the temporary suspension of visa processing services.
US Visa
Due to the curfew imposed by the Delhi Govt, the US Embassy in India has cancelled VAC appointments, both in-person and interview waivers, from 23rd April. For more information, one can visit https://in.usembassy.gov/visas/

Currently, The US Embassy in Mumbai is only providing essential services to US citizens and limited and emergency nonimmigrant and immigrant visa services until further notice.
However, the consulates in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata will continue most visa operations but may cancel certain appointments as per the situation.
The US embassy website said, “If your visa appointment has been cancelled, you will be notified directly by email. Applicants not notified of an appointment cancellation should plan to attend their interview appointment on the scheduled date and time.”
New appointments can be made through ustraveldocs.com/in.
Russia Visa
The Russian Embassy in India on Tuesday in a tweet said, “Due to heavy Covid-19 situation in the country starting from April 19, 2021, the Russian Embassy’s visa section temporarily cease its operations until further notice.”
