Abu Dhabi Customs has launched a new customs clearance feature for non-residents and unregistered companies from outside of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The feature is available to both individuals and companies and allows users to log in using UAE Pass, a government-approved digital identity platform.

One of the benefits of this new feature is the automated form-filling for certain fields when using specific templates. Additionally, it facilitates the completion of the clearance request through a single e-page that can be accessed on all smart devices.

The new feature is part of the updated clearance of goods service offered through the Abu Dhabi Government’s unified services ecosystem, TAMM.

This updated service aims to provide an effortless customer experience for individuals, businesses, and companies from outside the UAE. Users can now clear their goods upon entering or exiting customs ports through Abu Dhabi and between free zones in the country, other emirates, or neighbouring countries.

The updated clearance of goods service applies to goods that are imported for commercial or personal entry, as well as temporary admission of goods that are exported and re-exported, and in cases of re-export clearance or transit goods.
