Thailand Partners With Tinder For Single Tourists

The Thai Tourism Authority (TAT) is working with the famous dating app Tinder to promote domestic travel for individual tourists, according to the report.

The Single Journeys campaign consists of nine tourism routes: Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lop Buri-Saraburi, Udon Thani-Loei, Chumphon-Surat Thani, Phuket, Pattaya and Ayutthaya.

During the pilot program, TAT will launch three tourism campaigns in December and January.

Starting December 20, individual tourists wishing to pray for a relationship can join a river cruise to visit nine holy temples on the river and have dinner on board.

For single travelers who prefer to travel alone, the agency is offering a secret island party in Koh Khai in Phuket on January 9, 2021.

TAT has also partnered with the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) for a one-day train journey under the Rod Fai Loi Nam program to the Pasak Jolasid Dam in Lop Buri, scheduled for January 23, 2021, Bangkokpost said. com.

The Single Journey campaigns for singles will help drive seven million domestic trips and generate at least 100 million baht in tourism revenue in the first quarter of next year, she said.

TAT expects to raise awareness of this campaign to more than 70 million engagements via social media over the next three months.

Kiatphaibool said TAT and partners, which include airlines and tour operators, will be launching more than 20 solo tourist routes nationwide over the next year, which will be available on Sneakoutdeal, an online tourism platform.
