Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), is set to expand its presence in India by launching daily flights between Chennai and Singapore starting November 5, 2023. The newly introduced direct flight service will be operated on Scoot’s Airbus A320 aircraft, enhancing international accessibility to and from Chennai. At a media event in Chennai, Scoot’s General Manager for India and West Asia, Mr Brian Torrey, shared insights into the airline’s optimism regarding the Indian market and discussed future plans and developments as a leading low-cost carrier.
