According to the Ministry of Haj and Umrah, Saudi citizens can now invite multiple guests on a personal visit visa at the same time. Saudi Arabian citizens are permitted to invite visitors on a personal visa as part of its Vision 2030 and plans to increase the number of foreign tourists.

Saudi nationals can apply for a visit request by logging into the eVisa platform, filling out the information for the invitees, and submitting a request for a personal visit on the official visa platform.

This new policy allows Saudi citizens to host their friends and loved ones in the country, providing an opportunity for closer relationships and cultural exchange. Make sure to check with the Ministry of Haj and Umrah for any requirements or restrictions related to personal visit visas.

Saudi Arabia’s Personal Visit Visa

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, a citizen may submit multiple requests for multiple visitors at once.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced last month that individuals with personal visit visas would be permitted to travel throughout the Kingdom, perform Umrah, visit Makkah and Madinah, as well as other religious and historical sites, and participate in sporting and cultural events.

Applicants must submit their application and passport to the Saudi embassy or consulate in their home country, or through accredited centres, after paying fees and purchasing medical insurance.

Once the invited guest receives their passport and entry visa, they can enter KSA by air, land, or sea.

The ministry also stated that inquiries about submitted applications can be made through the inquiry icon on the visa platform. Personal Visit Visas have the following advantages, according to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Saudi Personal Visa Benefits

  1. Apply for several guests at a time.
  2. Enter Saudi Arabia one or multiple times.
  3. Issued for one or multiple trips.
  4. Perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque.
  5. Visit religious sites and historical monuments.
  6. Touristic trips to all Saudi regions and cities.

It is important to note that the Personal Visa for a single trip is valid for 90 days with a maximum stay of 90 days, whereas the Multi-Trip Visa is valid for 365 days with a maximum stay of 90 days.
