Palace On Wheels is now luring the home tourists by creating new itineraries and offering a 30% discount on tickets.
The luxurious practice, which relies on international tourists, canceled its excursions in March and April, and couldn’t begin journeys within the new season ranging from September this year. But a senior official in Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) mentioned there’s a plan to run the luxury Palace On Wheels for home tourists or teams for 3 months ranging from February.
“We have created two itineraries keeping in mind the interests of the domestic tourists. We have also decided to offer a 30% discount as compared to the previous rates. With a minimum booking of 27 guests for a trip, we can start the journey,” mentioned Alok Gupta, chairman and managing director of RTDC.
In the three-day itinerary, the practice will take tourists from Delhi to Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Agra, and again to Delhi. In the 4 day journey, Udaipur will probably be a further vacation spot after Jaipur.
The per-day charges after a 30% discount come to Rs 94,248 for a pair in a tremendous deluxe cabin, Rs 52,360, and Rs 34,034 per individual in single and double occupancy seats respectively, for February and March.
Since April is taken into account as off-season, charges decrease in comparison with February and March. The per-day charges for April after a 30% discount come to Rs 70,686 for a pair in a tremendous deluxe cabin, Rs 42,840, and Rs 26,180 per individual in single and double occupancy seats respectively.
