Online Travel Platform HappyEasyGo Raises Rs 350 Crore

Founded in 2017, Gurugram-based online travel startup HappyEasyGo declared that it’s raised its extended Series B round of funding. HappyEasyGo will use these funds to strengthen its air-ticketing business and develop its hotel division.

Reportedly, the startup has raised around Rs 350 crore from its investment partners, including Korea Investment Partners (KIP), Samsung Venture Investment Corporation (SVIC), UOB Venture, 10 Fund, CVCapital, Zero2IPO Ventures, and M&S Partners.

With the target of turning into the best online travel platform in India, HappyEasyGo intends to use these funds to more strengthen its air-ticketing business and develop its hotel division.

The startup claims that its B2C online air-ticketing sales are presently ranked second in the trade, with a user base of over 10 million.

“The completion of this funding is an excellent milestone for HappyEasyGo, which might facilitate us to expand the size of our operations, increase market share, and upgrade the present products. While the strategy is to take care of the lowest price, to strengthen the ascendancy in high-speed growth of the air ticketing business, HappyEasyGo also plans to accelerate the hotel vertical through its localization strategy.

It has collaborations with trusted brands like Samsung, VIVO, Transsion, Airtel Payments Bank, Oman Air, OlaMoney, and Mobikwik.

In a shot to reach a wider user base, HappyEasyGo is also attempting to reduce the price of the acquisition. With an engine dedicated to price improvement, the startup claims to have the potential to seek out the lowest point of real-time price in the market. the corporate has also recently ventured into the hotel booking business.
