The credit card is an IRCTC and SBI co-branded credit card.

The new credit card was announced today by Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Railways, Commerce, and Industry.

With the aim of offering customers a secure transaction environment, the new RuPay credit card is equipped with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, which enables users to speed up their transactions at the POS machines by simply clicking on the card tap and not without wiping it.
