IndiGo, India’s leading airline in terms of domestic and international air traffic, has announced its expansion into Indonesia by introducing Jakarta as its 28th international destination.

This new route will establish the first direct air connection between Mumbai and Jakarta, providing convenient and efficient travel options for passengers. The exclusive daily flights between Jakarta and Mumbai are now open for booking, with service commencing on August 7, 2023.

The introduction of these flights aims to significantly reduce travel time to Jakarta and meet the growing demand for travel to Indonesia.

IndiGo Jakarta Flights

The flight schedule for the new Mumbai-Jakarta route offered by IndiGo includes daily flights starting from August 7, 2023. The departure from Mumbai is scheduled for 07:55, with an arrival time in Jakarta at 16:10. For the return leg, the departure from Jakarta is at 17:05, with an arrival time in Mumbai at 21:30.

In addition to the Mumbai-Jakarta route, IndiGo has recently expanded its reach to Africa, unveiling Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, as its 27th international and 105th overall destination. The airline has opened bookings for daily non-stop flights between Mumbai and Nairobi, commencing on August 5, 2023.

This strategic move marks IndiGo’s entry into the African subcontinent, providing numerous benefits to both business and leisure travellers seeking to explore the diverse offerings of Kenya’s largest city.
