Indian Railway to Introduce Bharat Gaurav Train for Garvi Gujarat Tour

Indian Railways has come up with a very special tour Garvi Gujarat to showcase the cultural & Spiritual Heritage of the Vibrant Gujarat State by running its Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train.

This special tourist train, operated by IRCTC, will depart on 28th February from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station on 8 days tour.

Boarding & Deboarding

For the convenience of tourists, the boarding and deboarding facility is provided at Gurugram, Rewari, Ringas, Phullera, and Ajmer Railway Stations.

The Concept

The tour package is designed based on the “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” initiative of the Government of India, which is conceptualized on the life of the great freedom fighter Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.

Itinerary

The first stop of the train tour package is at Kevadiya, where the Statue of Unity will be the main attraction. During the 8-day journey, the train will cover a distance of approximately 3500 KM.

The tour itinerary includes visits to world-class heritage treasures such as the Statue of Unity, Champaner archaeological park, Adhlej Step Well, Akshardham Temple at Ahmedabad, Sabarmati Ashram, Modhera Sun Temple, and the Rani ki Vao at Patan, among others. The tour also includes visits to religious sites such as Somnath Jyotirlinga, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Dwarkadheesh Temple, and Beyt Dwarka.

There will be two-night stays in hotels, one each at Kevadiya and Ahmedabad, while visits to Somnath and Dwarka will be covered in day halts at the destination.

Features of the Train

The state-of-the-art Deluxe AC Tourist Train has a host of incredible features, including two fine dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, shower cubicles in coaches, sensor-based washroom functions, and a foot massager.

The fully air-conditioned train provides two types of accommodation, 1st AC and 2nd AC.

The train is equipped with enhanced security features such as CCTV cameras, security guards for each coach, and an infotainment system throughout the train.

Initiative to Promote Domestic Tourism

The launch of the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train is in line with the Government of India’s initiative “Dekho Apna Desh” to promote domestic tourism.

All-Inclusive Package

The IRCTC tourist train is an 8-day all-inclusive tour package, with prices starting from Rs. 52250/- per person in AC 2 Tier, Rs.67140 per person for AC 1 (Cabin), and Rs. 77400/- Per Person for AC 1 (Coupe).

The price covers the train journey in the respective class, night stays at AC hotels, all meals (veg only), all transfer & sightseeing in buses, travel insurance, and services of a guide, among others.

IRCTC will take care of all necessary health precautionary measures and make efforts to provide a safe and memorable experience for guests.

EMI Payment Option

To make the package more attractive and affordable, IRCTC has tied up with payment gateways to provide an EMI payment option that breaks the total payment into small amounts.
