GBS Technology Opens New Greece Visa Application Centres in India

GBS Technology Services, a leading global visa outsourcing company, has joined forces with Global Visa Centre World (GVCW), the exclusive External Service Provider (ESP) to the Greek Consular and Diplomatic Authorities, to introduce spacious visa application centres in India for individuals planning to travel to Greece.

Ambassador Y.A. Zepos, Vice Chairman of GVCW, in collaboration with GBS, inaugurated the new Visa Centre in New Delhi, expressing hopes of providing excellent services and conditions for all those interested in visiting Greece.

Enhanced Facilities for Travellers

The first centre opened on May 11, 2023, in Delhi, with the participation of prominent guests from the diplomatic community and tourism services.

The GBS Technology will also open new Visa Application Centres (VACs) in Bangalore, Kolkata, and Mumbai in conjunction with VFS Global, the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services provider for governments and diplomatic missions.

These cutting-edge facilities will include larger premium lounges, more seating capacity, and additional submission counters for visa applicants travelling to Greece.

Streamlining the Visa Application Process

The newly established Greek Visa Application Centre, according to Kaviraj Bhandari, CEO of GBS Technology Services India, intends to streamline the visa application procedure for Indian tourists.

It will increase access, information, and support across the country, with the ultimate goal of promoting Greece as a preferred destination and enabling seamless and efficient travel between the two nations.

Growing Tourism from India

Annually, approximately 50,000 tourists from India visit Greece, demonstrating the appeal of the Mediterranean country among Indian travellers. The introduction of these new Visa Application Centres will further facilitate travel and contribute to the growth of tourism between India and Greece.

Ambassador Y.A. Zepos, emphasised the historical significance of India and Greece’s relationship, which dates back thousands of years. He emphasised the need of introducing Indians to modern Greece and encouraging them to visit the nation.
