Etihad Airways invites travelers to travel to Dubai and the UAE’s Northern Emirates via Abu Dhabi International Airport. The authorities recently reopened Visa on Arrival for eligible passport holders, making Abu Dhabi an ideal gateway to the UAE’s seven emirates.

Travellers to Dubai and the Northern Emirates – Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain – should follow the quarantine procedures of the respective emirate. In Dubai, travellers only need to quarantine until receiving a negative COVID-19 test result, which is taken on arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport and usually received the same day.

Martin Drew, Senior Vice President Sales & Cargo, Etihad Aviation Group, said: “Etihad is an ideal option for guests wishing to travel to Dubai and the Northern Emirates to enjoy some of the UAE’s famous winter sun and incredible cultural and leisure highlights. Etihad is the only airline in the world to require 100% of its passengers to show a negative PCR test before travelling, and then retesting everyone on arrival. This means that flying with Etihad is flying in the safest possible way.”

UAE residents are reminded to visit uaeentry.ica.gov.ae before they travel to submit their passport number and Emirates ID number. They will receive instant verification of their UAE entry status in line with their residence visa validity.
