Azerbaijan Airlines To Start Flights Between Baku And Delhi From August 09


Azerbaijan Airlines, also known as AZAL the flag carrier and largest airline of Azerbaijan last week announced that it will start direct flights between Delhi and Baku effective from August 09, 2022.

According to an announcement made by the airline the frequency of flights between Delhi’s Indra Gandhi International Airport and Baku’s Heydar Aliyev International Airport will be twice a week.

AZAL to Start Flights to New Delhi in August

The flight from Baku will be operated every Tuesday and Friday while the flight from New Delhi – is on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The detailed schedule of these flights can be found below;

The airline has started the ticket sales and bookings can be done on the official website of the Airline, as well as at the air carrier’s accredited agencies.


It may be noted that the cost of the ticket includes a full menu of cold and hot meals, as well as free baggage allowance of up to 32 kg in business class and 23 kg in economy class.

It should be noted that AZAL performs the flight program en route Baku-New Delhi-Baku in partnership with Zeal Global Group.

Guidelines For Travel

Passengers who meet the indicated conditions of carriage and who are allowed to fly under the current epidemiological restrictions will be accepted for transportation on these flights.
