In May 2024, Minor Hotels, a global hotel owner and operator based in Bangkok, revealed that they will be managing a new resort and branded residences on the southwest coast of Bali. Set to open its doors in 2027, the Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort will mark the first luxury beachfront property on Seseh Beach and the third establishment under the Anantara Hotels & Resorts brand in Bali.
The Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort (or Taryan Dragon) is situated on the dark volcanic shores of Seseh Beach, just a short drive from popular destinations such as Canggu and Seminyak in southern Bali, and approximately an hour’s drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Designed by the acclaimed British architect John Dawes, the property’s architecture is inspired by the mystical Barong of Bali, a dragon-like guardian, giving the resort a unique blend of strength, grace, and fantasy.
With a total of 216 keys, including a variety of rooms and suites ranging from 52sqm to 120sqm, guests can enjoy a peaceful retreat by the ocean. The Cocoon Residences offer a harmonious fusion of nature and modern elegance, showcasing breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset over the Indian Ocean. One of the important highlights is the planned presence of a snow room in this residence.
