Akasa Air, India’s newest airline, has added Varanasi as its 14th destination. It will begin non-stop daily flights from Bengaluru to Varanasi on February 18th, 2023 and increase frequency starting March 1st, 2023.
The airline will also offer daily flights from Bengaluru to Goa via Varanasi, providing a seamless connection between the two popular tourist destinations.
Varanasi is Akasa Air’s second destination in Uttar Pradesh after launching flights from Lucknow to Mumbai and Bengaluru in December 2022.
The airline established a solid national presence in just six months by connecting metros to tier 2 and 3 cities. The airline plans to add a new aircraft to its fleet every 15 days.

Since its launch in August 2022, Akasa Air has carried over 1 million revenue passengers and crossed the milestone of operating over 575 weekly flights with an announced network of 21 unique routes connecting 14 cities, namely Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala, Pune, Visakhapatnam, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, and Varanasi.
