Air Mauritius to Resume Direct Flights Between Delhi and Mauritius From May 04

The airline will operate two weekly flights using its Airbus A330 aircraft, featuring a Business and Economy class configuration with a total seating capacity of 254 seats.

Air Mauritius, the national carrier of Mauritius, has announced the resumption of its direct operations from Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, to Mauritius starting from May 04, 2023.

The resumption of direct operations from Delhi to Mauritius will strengthen Air Mauritius’ presence in the Indian market and boost tourism between the two countries.

Air Mauritius Delhi-Mauritius Flight Schedule

The flight schedule for Air Mauritius’ direct operations from Delhi to Mauritius will have two weekly flights, flight number MK745 on Thursdays and Sundays departing at 08:00 from Delhi and arriving at 14:00 in Mauritius, and flight number MK744 on Wednesdays and Saturdays departing at 21:15 from Mauritius and arriving at 06:15 in Delhi.

In celebration of this milestone, Air Mauritius, in collaboration with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, hosted a networking gala evening at The Imperial New Delhi on April 14, 2023.

The event was attended by H.E H. Dillum, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Mauritius to India, Krešimir Kučko, the Chief Executive Officer of Air Mauritius, Laurent Recoura, the Chief Commercial Officer of Air Mauritius, Arvind Bundhun, the Director of Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, and other dignitaries from the Travel Trade.

Air Mauritius’ decision to resume direct flights to Delhi is a testament to the airline’s commitment to providing high-quality service to its customers and expanding its global reach.

With this move, Air Mauritius aims to tap into the growing demand for travel between India and Mauritius, which has emerged as a popular holiday destination for Indian travellers in recent years.
