Air India International Flights On December 02 Under Vande Bharat Mission

The Govt. of India on May 06, 2020, has started the ‘Vande Bharat Mission’ to repatriate Indians stranded all over the world due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Indian national carrier Air India and its wholly-owned subsidiary Air India Express have already announced their schedule for the month of December 2020.

In December 2020, Air India will operate flights from Bangkok, Colombo, Kuwait, Nairobi, Rome, Singapore, Sydney, Tel Aviv, and Yangon.

While Air India Express will operate over 700 flights from 6 countries viz. Bahrain, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, and UAE under the Vande Bharat Mission and Air Bubble Arrangements.

As per the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), 10,210 repatriation flights were operated by the Air India Group under the Vande Bharat Mission till November 29, carrying over 13.18 lakh passengers. Of these, 5,103 were inbound flights carrying 8,22,160 passengers and 5,107 were outbound flights with 4,96,826 fliers.

The Vande Bharat Mission is currently in its Phase 7 which will continue until 31st December.
