Air France is expanding its Indian network to include Chennai with thrice-weekly direct flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle starting 14th June 2020, opening more opportunities for travel from India to the globe.
These flights are going to be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with a capacity of 279 seats (30 in Business, 21 in Premium Economy and 228 in Economy class).
According to a release by Air France, days of flight operation ex Chennai: Wednesdays, Fridays and Mondays and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays during the summer season.
Currently, Air France operates flights from Delhi, Mumbai & Bengaluru.
Speaking about the new route, Jean-Noel Rault, general manager, Air France – KLM, Indian Sub-Continent said, “We are delighted to be back in Chennai with the launch of direct services to Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Chennai will be our fourth gateway in India and therefore the second in South India.”
