The official Twitter handle of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check has busted another fake video that is circulating on social media platforms like Twitter WhatsApp and Facebook.
A viral FAKE video on social media shows passengers of Air India who have allegedly boarded an overseas flight is arguing over the higher price of ticket fares.
The video claims that the passengers have been charged thrice the normal fare and were then ‘packed in’ violating the social distancing norms.
According to the tweet from PIB Fact Check, the video is fake. It further clarifies that the video is not of Air India, but of an airline from a neighboring country’s airlines as informed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA).
“Claim: Video on social media showing passengers on purported @airindiain overseas flight arguing over being charged thrice the normal fare & then packed in, without #SocialDistancing. Fact: #Fake video…@MoCA_GoI say it is from a neighboring country’s airlines,” read the Twitter post of PIB Fact Check.
