The Kerala Govt on Saturday announced that all passengers traveling to Kerala that are fully vaccinated will no longer need to show a negative RT-PCR test report at the airport.

However, they need to show the certificates stating they have taken both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

State Disaster Management Authority made the decision on grounds that the Covid-19 vaccination was “progressing well”, a release said.

It further said that people attending activities that call for a negative RT-PCR result should carry the vaccination certificate showing they have received two doses of the vaccine.

Recently, the Maharashtra Govt has also announced new RT-PCR test rules for entering into the state and said, it will not require mandatory RT-PCR reports from flyers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Moreover, the state govt has also increased the interval of validity of the RT-PCR test from 48 hours to 72 hours.
