Discovering the Eight Immersive Realms

SeaWorld features eight immersive realms where visitors can explore marine life while learning and getting fascinated at the same time. They have the One Ocean, the Abu Dhabi Ocean, the Rocky Point, the Microocean, the Tropical Ocean, the Arctic, the Antarctica, and the Endless Ocean.

1. One Ocean

One Ocean features access points to other realms and the Animal Care Center, allowing visitors to delve into captivating and immersive tales of the ocean through its state-of-the-art 360-degree media experience. It highlights the animal care centre, one epic ocean spectacular, and Explorer HQ.

The Animal Care Center is an area where guests can explore the facility, discover how health checks and medical treatments are performed on animals, and see what medical equipment is used. They’ll also have the opportunity to talk to vets and animal care specialists and ask any questions they may have. There are impressive media shows where guests will get to appreciate the undersea world in a 360-degree view.

2. Abu Dhabi Ocean

Experience a captivating glimpse into the distinctive marine ecosystem of the Arabian Gulf and the rich history of Bedouin families who explored the waters for coveted pearls to trade, through the Abu Dhabi Ocean realm. The highlights of this realm are the Abu Dhabi souk, the pearl diving shows, and the touch pools.

Here are some of the things guests can do at this realm – watch the SEA guardian games (a friendly competition around the park), watch live performances such as “The Fisherman and The Mermaid” and “A Pearl Diver’s Life”, shop at Souk Al-Seef, and dine to try some of the most popular Arabic favourites.

3. Rocky Point

Rocky Point features an innovative above and underwater habitat designed to provide animals with an enriched environment for optimal well-being. Through the use of cutting-edge technology, the park is able to simulate the water currents, wave movements, and lighting conditions found in natural habitats. Their Advanced Animal Lighting System (AALS) precisely mimics the natural sun, including day, night, and seasonal light cycles, as well as UVA and UVB basking areas, which are essential for the animals’ health.

The highlights of the realm are the sea lion presentation, feeding the sea lions, and sea lion encounters. Other featured animals are small-clawed otters, pelicans, and cormorants.

4. MicroOcean

Enter a world of vibrant colours and intricate underwater ecosystems where the smallest creatures take centre stage. Take a journey down to the size of plankton and experience this magnificent underwater playground from a new perspective. With an array of games, adventures, rides, experiments, entertainment, and even educational activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Come and explore the wonders of this colourful aquatic wonderland.

Here are the interactive experiences and rides for guests to try – Turtle Twist, Octozoom, Jelly Plunge, Eel Racer, Kelp Climb, and Explorer’s Sea Base. There’s also a live performance of Sea Star and Krill Dude, MicroOcean’s characters.

5. Tropical Ocean

Embark on a dazzling adventure of cascading waterfalls, lush tropical rainforests, pristine lagoons, and captivating marine creatures.

The realm highlights – a dolphin presentation, the rainforest, and one thrilling coaster. Things guests can do – feed rays, watch dolphins play, ride the Manta Coaster, watch live performances, shop for dolphin-themed goods, and visit live cooking stations.

6. Arctic

Explore the fascinating world of the Arctic region and its unique ecosystem in this immersive realm. Witness the seasonal temperatures and light cycles that are true to the Arctic environment and get up close with the animals that thrive here. The highlights of this realm are the walrus habitat, research vessel, and Hypersphere 360°.

In this realm, guests get to watch walruses in their habitat and see other animals too, such as puffins, sea otters, and cold water fishes. They also get to watch the live performance of Sven and Oorni, the comedic duo at the realm. The Hypersphere 360° ride is a highlight that guests wouldn’t want to miss. This interactive ride allows guests to explore the Ahmed Ibn Majid Research Vessel.

7. Antarctica

Subantarctic and Antarctic penguins thrive in the chilly climate of 1°C air temperature and 7°C water temperature in this realm. They have a full spectrum zoological lighting system to mimic the seasonal changes of Antarctica, ensuring the best possible welfare conditions for the penguins during moulting season, nesting season, and all year round.

Here are the realm’s highlights – penguin habitat, penguin play, and delicious dining.

Love penguins? You’ll meet a love of them in this realm. There’s the king penguin, the Gentoo, the rockhopper, the chinstrap, the macaroni, and the Adelie. The Penguin Play features slides, nets for climbing, and soft play elements. Love Italian food? You’ll find it here in this realm.

8. Endless Ocean

With over 68,000 animals, including sharks, rays, and schooling fish, the Endless Ocean realm boasts the world’s largest multi-species marine life aquarium.

There are eight habitats in this realm, stunning observation areas, and the Swirl.

The Swirl is where guests get to watch tens of thousands of sardines swim. In other habitats, they’ll see crabs, eels, and the Day octopus. There is also a live entertainment show from the SEA maintenance crew. And with views of the underwater world, dining at SeaWorld is definitely a must-experience.
