Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the Best Airline in India and South Asia, as well as 16th position worldwide in the prestigious 2023 World Airline Awards by Skytrax.
Moving up four places from last year, Vistara is the only Indian airline to feature in the list of the world’s top 20 airlines for the second consecutive year.
The awards ceremony took place at the iconic Musée de l’air et de l’espace during the grandeur of the Paris Air Show 2023.
Vistara Grabs Multiple Awards
The 2023 World Airline Awards by Skytrax also recognized Vistara’s excellence in various categories, with the airline winning multiple prestigious awards.
Vistara was honoured as the “Best Airline in India and South Asia” for the third consecutive year. The airline also received the “Best Airline Staff in India and South Asia” award for the fifth time in a row.
In addition, Vistara secured the title of “Best Cabin Crew in India and South Asia” for the third consecutive year and “Best Business Class Airline in India and South Asia” for the second time.
Recognition of Customer Satisfaction
The World Airline Awards, which are based on the world’s largest airline passenger satisfaction survey, involved more than 20.23 million travellers from over 100 nationalities.
The survey covered the period between September 2022 and May 2023, making it a comprehensive and reliable reflection of customer preferences.
