Wildfires In Butte County May Impact Some Flights At SFO

The devastating wildfires in Butte County are causing unhealthy air quality conditions, reduced visibility, and widespread smoke and haze.  As a result, SFO is experiencing some delays and cancellations.

Please check with your airline for your flight details.

The air-conditioning systems within the terminals have been set to ‘recirculate’ in an effort to reduce the smell of smoke.  Additional efforts are also being taken to minimize the impact on our guests.
