Vistara To Operate Daily Flights Between Delhi And Sharjah From January 20

Vistara, a leading full-service carrier and the joint venture of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines on Monday announced that it will start operating daily flights between Delhi and Sharjah from 20th January 2021.

The airline will deploy its A320neo aircraft on the Delhi-Sharjah route as part of the ‘air bubble agreement’ between India and the UAE, complementing its services to/from Dubai.

The round-trip all-inclusive fares for Delhi-Sharjah-Delhi start at INR 15,999 and round-trip all-inclusive fares for Sharjah-Delhi-Sharjah start at AED 799.

“Fly the new feeling to Sharjah! We are happy to announce that direct flights from Delhi to Sharjah will be operating from 20-Jan-21 to 27-Mar-21 with return fares starting at INR 15999 all-in.” Vistara said in a tweet.

Starting all-inclusive, round-trip fares between Delhi and Sharjah are as follows:

Bookings for these flights are now open on all channels including Vistara’s website, iOS and Android mobile apps, through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and travel agents.

Commenting on the importance of this new route in Vistara’s network strategy, Mr. Leslie Thng, Chief Executive Officer, Vistara, said, “We continue to witness significant demand for travel between India and the UAE, and are delighted to add our second destination, after Dubai, in the country to our route map. We are determined to provide the finest flying experience and enhanced convenience to travelers to and from Sharjah and remain committed to strengthening our global presence.”

The airline will accept all eligible customers meeting visa/entry requirements in both the countries, as specified by the respective government bodies.

All travelers to Sharjah must have a negative RT-PCR test report, conducted not more than 96 hours before arriving at Sharjah Airport.

Travelers will have to undergo another mandatory RT-PCR test upon arrival at Sharjah. Also, customers traveling to India from Sharjah must carry a negative RT-PCR test report, conducted within 72 hours before arriving in India.
